Looking to learn
more about me?

MONIKA GRAHAM

Hello and thank you for reading this…

Having a personal coach changed the way I managed my workload, teams and other resources throughout my professional life in a senior management role.

It's also changed the way I want to live and the way I make decisions and take action.

That’s why I became a certified coach. Fast forward nearly 10 years of supporting others through workplace coaching — and I feel much more fulfilled as a result. So much so, that I’ve decided to make it my sole focus.

I’ve drawn on all the skills I’ve been fortunate to build over 20 years of managing projects, leading operational delivery teams, and supporting others in their growth, to set up Blue Mountain Associates.

I did it because I wanted more freedom.

Freedom to be authentic and soul-led.
Freedom to be financially independent.
Freedom to have the work–life balance that suits me.

To achieve all that, I needed clarity on what I actually wanted out of life, the confidence to act on it, and the sense of belonging - both to myself (yes, I belong to myself!) and to the community that sees me through the harder times.

This is what my coaching will help you with - stepping away from the daily noise and bringing calm and clarity to your ambitious plans.

Looking forward to getting to know you, wherever you might be on your journey. Mine is ever evolving, and confidently imperfect…

‘Monika is an amazing professional coach - anyone who has the opportunity should go for it!’

Wondering how I got here?
Here’s my story

I’m a business owner and a bilingual life coach for ambitious, busy professionals — think managers, project managers, or newly promoted directors with a variety of backgrounds, often with an international experience or heritage.

My clients come to me when they’re tired of fire-fighting through their week and are ready to lead with more clarity, calm, and confidence. Together, we work on cutting through overwhelm, making better decisions, and preparing for the next natural step in their career — without burning out.

I know this world inside out.

Having moved from Poland to the UK, I spent 20 years in senior roles — leading operational delivery, managing high-value projects, and running board-level programmes. I thrived in fast-paced environments, took big responsibilities, and learned to “hold it all together.”

At some point, I knew I wanted to change something. So I left the ‘9-to-5’ and started the freelance business I now run.

Coaching I have benefited from over the years changed the way I lead — and the way I live. That’s what inspired me to build a business supporting people just like the person I used to be: high-achieving, capable, but tired of carrying it all alone.

What’s different about
me as a coach?

My journey has taken me across borders — professionally, personally, and emotionally. When I moved countries, towns, or careers, I experienced both the thrill of new beginnings and the quiet confusion of “Where do I belong now?”

That international experience and my drive for reinvention shape my coaching deeply. I tend to resonate most with people who have multicultural backgrounds or desire life transitions, and who are now ready to make meaningful change — with purpose, clarity, and joy at the centre.

Also — I like to have a laugh 😄 so it matters to me that our coaching partnership is fun and light-hearted as well as reflective and transformational.

‘Monika is an exceptional professional coach and a great listener. She is brilliant at asking thought-provoking questions to help you explore your thought processes and reflect. Her coaching sessions are tailored to your goals, ensuring they are well-balanced, purpose-driven, enjoyable, and allow you to be heard.’

What am I working on at the moment?

Right now, I’m working on my freelance strategy to further grow Blue Mountain Associates — through new collaborations, expanded services, and creative partnerships with other coaches. I’ve got plenty of ideas… and the tricky bit is to harness them.

On a personal level, my current edge is detaching from the outcome.
My days are full of inspired action and business development I genuinely enjoy — and focusing on that, rather than second-guessing the future, makes all the difference.

#Confidently imperfect is a phrase you’ll often hear me say.

What am I most proud of?

That I’ve reinvented myself — more than once — and kept moving forward with curiosity, hope and courage. I’ve changed countries, pivoted careers, moved towns for a better lifestyle, and walked away from a secure 9–5 job to start my own coaching practice.

However, one of the things I’m most proud of is my recent, first-ever home renovation — a top-floor flat in a Victorian house. It pushed me, stretched me, and showed me just how resourceful I really am - I felt truly… #confidently imperfect! That’s the kind of belief I help my clients build, too….

A little thing not many people know about me…

I love being in nature — woodland walks, sea air, and any chance to breathe freely.
I also walk other people’s dogs… just for the joy of it (and yes, also for the steps!).
